Best Live reporting for the Los Angeles Riots
I've had some great nights at The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco and this was one of them. Photographer Ben Cruz and I are receiving Emmys for our live coverage of the Los Angeles Riots. I often remember Rodney King and his words so simple and true as Los Angeles burned--"Can't we all just get along?" Many times when there was fighting at work or home I would laughingly and respectfully repeat those words.
